Howard Solutions was founded in 2011 by Andrew James and offers specialist services to the digital printing industry.

Howard Solutions provides a range of skills, products and services to meet the growing needs of the market.

Before founding Howard Solutions, Andrew held the position of UK Managing Director for Lasermax Roll Systems, a leader in automated paper handling for continuous digital printing technology. His career in this industry started with Stralfors in 1996 as National Sales Manager in the Lasermax Division. He progressed to being appointed Managing Director of Lasermax Roll Systems in 2003, a positions he held till the end of 2010. Prior to this he was involved in the envelope processing market. Working in the industry for 20 years has given Andrew a deep understanding of the needs of the market and allows Howard Solutions to provide world class products, service, and consultancy to its customers.

Andrew comes from a technical background having originally served a technical engineering apprenticeship in the Motor manufacturing industry in Oxford. Following this stage of his career he pursued a more commercial direction with a variety of roles in industry and more latterly in the service and supply industry.

Howard Solutions is the UK sales agent and reseller for a number of specialist print technologies, ranging from digital printing cleaning waste and dust extraction systems, UV coating, ancillary equipment for improving movement of materials in the print production area and production software systems.

Such deep knowledge of the industry means that Andrew can offer tailored sales consultancy. Andrew's skills have already helped businesses gain a larger proportion of their market share.

Howard Solutions is not just about sales and consultancy; but developing the efficiency of print & mail production; in 2011 they launched the HS Reel Liner. This helps to solve many problems and develop productivity and efficiency with a keen eye on improving safe working practices with continuous media digital printers. Their Reel Liners are now saving companies not only paper and downtime but saved the backs of many operators! There will be more products to follow in this area, so watch this space!
