PureClean Air Systems utilize heavy duty web-sweep pickup heads that capture at source directly from roll fed and box fed continuous printers. The pickup heads are equipped with grounded brushes that help reduce static electricity build-up on paper feeding into high speed printers.The anti-static brushes stretch across both sides of the paper, agitating the paper dust and paper chad that are then vacuumed away and collected by the PureClean air systems. Higher quality end product and data integrity are achieved while lowering downtime on printers and inserting systems, housekeeping costs and employee health problems.

Argos Systems™ are specifically designed to "source capture" contaminants directly from digital printers and pre-/post processing equipment. Implementation of the "source capture" method creates a negative pressure that effectively captures and directs the hot and contaminated air into a two or three stage filter bank of the Argos systems. Clean fresh air is returned back into the room without exhausting, extensive ductwork or the need for “make-up" air.Handling paper always creates dust. If you have a production from roll or box, it doesn't matter, to insert documents into envelopes, the paper needs to be slit, cut, grouped and folded before entering the envelope. The paper fibres are heavily stressed by the frequent starts/stops inside the guillotine cutter. These cutters slit the pinfeed sides off the paper and take the horizontal perforation out between the documents. This cut out is captured by a box or paper waste extractor from other manufacturers.
These systems do not take away the paper dust created by these processes and this is where the Argos Aircleaner steps in! Adding the Argos Aircleaner with special connectors to the cutting systems will reduce the paper dust created by the guillotine cutters and will lessen downtime for cleaning. Recent installation done on inserters, proved that, during 1 shift, the cleaning stops had been reduced from 13 to 2-3 per shift!
