TruCoat UV Coater product line
The new TruCoat UV Coater solutions are available in stand-alone or inline configurations. Gloss, satin or matt coatings can be applied at speeds of up to 4000 sheets per hour. The TruCoat range features a modern design that maximises simplicity."Starting up the TruCoat UV coater happens in less than 3 minutes, while switching between different coatings takes only 5 minutes, including purging and cleaning of coating injectors and rollers." says Tony Michiels. The systems have standard IR (infrared) as well as UV (ultraviolet) lamps. The three IR lamps smoothen the surface of the varnish. The UV lamp ensures the setting of the coating. The UV lamp is housed in a special reflector that maximises the illumination whilst minimising power consumption.Automatic feeder
The optional Suction Feeder loads stacks up to 45 cm high. The suction system and automatic diversion of double pages ensures a constant and secure feed.Green
The Tec Coat UV Varnish is 99.9% VOC-free and complies with all air quality environmental standards. An intelligent sheet monitoring system detects paper jams and when a jam is detected the IR and UV lamps are instantaneously shut down.Precision scraper
A precision scraper keeps the counter pressure cylinder free of varnish. The scraper also makes sure that print dust or residual toner does not contaminate the varnish ensuring perfect duplex coating.Filtration
Each filter in the applying system is separately checked by a worm mechanism. This ensures a smooth UV coating over the entire width of each sheet.Touchscreen interface
